Ahava Rabba
אהבה רבה
An inclusive, queer-friendly, liberatory Jewish sacred space
There has perhaps never been more need of Judaism than in our time, a time in which many cherished hopes of humanity lie crushed. We should be pioneers, as were our ancestors three thousand years ago. The future of all humans depends upon their realizing that the sense of holiness is as vital as health.
-
after Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel, Moral Grandeur and Spiritual Audacity
We believe that:
- All humans are created in the image of the Divine
- None of us are free until all of us are free
- We can lean on our ancient traditions to help us
- Community is necessary in hard times
Our Next Gathering: May 22nd, 2026
